When Immortal Throne was announced it was like Christmas had come early. I've been playing Titan Quest (TQ) since its release. I've seen TQ slowly mature from v1.01 to v1.20. Though the road to its maturity may have been a bit rough I can definitely say its development was focused on one thing; making a balanced, intriguing, and enjoyable video game whether you're an RPG or hack n' slash fan of the videogame genre.
If you're like me you probably have a couple characters' levels maxed, adorned with legendary set items, and have completed the entire main and side quests. You spend your Titan Quest time online joining random games, and showing off and teasing other players about your character's uber-ness. But with the proverbial salary cap on my beloved Oracle, and the-always-fun Conqueror, there's really not much to do (excluding the community's custom modules/maps). With the Immortal Throne expansion, the developers have once again tickled our fancy. With the addition of a new mastery, a new act, and bumping up the level cap to 75, it should wet anyone's appetite. But it doesn't end there. With a host of new features and enhancements it will make fans of Titan gold quest giddy as a schoolgirl at a Sanrio gift shop.
The new multiplayer features a new lobby system where each game will display which player is currently playing, as well as displaying the portrait of the characters. Other multiplayer features include the player vs. player option and the auto-party feature, which will come in handy when new players join the game and won't stop pestering you to let him join your party while you're busy clicking away trying to kill the Telkine.
